Ice Cream Churning

I had so much left over egg yolk from making french macarons. There are alot of options for me to make something out of the egg yolks. Since it is summer, I decided to make ice cream. I happen to have a package of Oreos in my pantry. Cookies N' Cream Ice Cream!

Only 6 Ingredients:

8 egg yolks

2 cups of heavy cream

2 1/2 cups of milk

3/4 cup sugar

3 tbs. vanilla extract

1 package of Oreos

Tangled Birthday Cake

It was my goddaughter's 3rd birthday. She loves Disney's Tangled and princesses so I decided I would make her a birthday cake based on the movie.
The cake is a half sheet chocolate sponge cake with whipped cream and fresh strawberries filling. The cake consisted of three layers. After layering the cake, I covered it with green whipped cream and decorated it with flowers made of royal icing.

I covered the tower with marshmallow fondant and piped vines and flowers with royal icing. Fortunately, I found a Rapunzel doll that fit perfectly inside the tower.

Cream Puffs

I was craving some cream puffs one day and decided to make them. The chocolate dipped cream puffs has vanilla pastry cream filling. The cream puffs dusted with powdered sugar has a strawberry cream filling inside. To make the strawberry cream filling, I just whipped up heavy cream with powdered sugar and folded pureed fresh strawberries.

Disney's Cars

With Disney's Cars 2 movie, here is a cake pop/cupcake tower I made. Holes were drilled on each layer for the pops to stand on. 

Ava's 1st Birthday

I made desserts for my niece's 1st Birthday Party. Desserts consisted of sugar swirl cookies, cotton candy, smores cupcakes, whoopie pies, rocky road brownies, and french macarons. The theme of the party was lady bugs. I found lady bug chocolates by Lindt that I placed on top of the smores cupcakes. The wrapped chocolates are places all around the tiered boxes.

For Easter I made Chick, Easter Bunny, and Easter Egg Cake Pops. It was fun to make and fun to look at.

Organic Strawberry Dipped Chocolate

I am so lucky that strawberry season is here. I found these huge organic strawberries and had to make Strawberry Dipped Chocolate one again.
